I started out in General Practice back in 2013, and moved into Practice Management in 2018. These days I’m a Management Partner at a GP practice, so I’m not offering advice from the sidelines. Everything on this site comes from work I’m doing myself, day in, day out.
Where I add the most value is fit. Off-the-shelf configurations and generic training only go so far. Real improvement comes from tailoring SystmOne to how your practice actually works: bespoke training, custom templates and reports, and setups built around your team’s needs. I’d rather adapt the system to you than ask you to adapt to it.

Community Dermatology Service — Birmingham & Solihull
Procured, configured and deployed the SystmOne Hub units used by the service, including caseload management, remote booking, eRS Choose and Book integration, and prescribing.
LIVI UK
Worked with Livi for three years, setting up GP Hubs across the country to deliver remote-GP capacity supporting Out of Hours and Extended Access services — including remote booking, reporting and prescribing.
Devon Extended Access
Configured SystmOne across around 20 GP practices and the Extended Access GP Hubs, enabling prescribing, remote booking and record sharing.
Eli Lilly & Co. — PARM Tool
Worked on, and continue to support, the development of the PARM Tool — an award-winning population health management tool for diabetes and obesity in primary care. Read more via Lilly UK partnerships and Nursing in Practice.
NHS Devon ICB — SystmOne Trainer
SystmOne trainer for NHS Devon ICB since 2018, supporting around 100 practices with training and development, and assisting practices migrating from other clinical systems, such as EMIS, to SystmOne.
NIHR — SystmOne Lead
SystmOne lead supporting NHS and commercial research, advising on deliverability within General Practice and creating digital resources — including searches to identify patients eligible for new and existing research studies and clinical trials. Delivered through the NIHR PRIDES service.
AQP & Private Provider Services
Worked with private AQP (Any Qualified Provider) organisations to procure and configure SystmOne modules, enabling them to deliver services to NHS patients.
Practice-Level Support
Ongoing, practice-level SystmOne support: bespoke training, custom template and report creation, and system reviews tailored to how each individual practice works — not a generic, one-size-fits-all setup.
